Fort Macleod

Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump, located in the Porcupine Hills near Fort MacLeod is one of the oldest, largest and best preserved buffalo jumps in North America.

The Fort - Museum of the North West Mounted Police, the most famous attraction in Fort Macleod, documents and explores the challenging early years of the NWMP, now known as the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).

Cardston

Houses the largest collection of horse-drawn vehicles in North America, with over 240 carriages, wagons and sleighs. The Museum is located only minutes from both Waterton Lakes National Park in Alberta, and Glacier National Park in Montana. It is open year-round, seven days a week. International travellers acknowledge the display as the finest in the world.
