Hy Octane was shown very successfully in Model Hunters and Baby Green Hunters as a youngster. Then he was introduced into the Jumper Ring where he continually amazed us with his ability, style and aptitude along with his winning ways. After a serious injury to his rider he started his training in Dressage where he quickly advanced to the Prix. St. George Level. His entire foal crop carrier his unique traits, temperament, conformation and ability. They have been competing in all Equestrian disciplines with his same willingness and winning ways.

After Painted Trak Farms sold their facility in 2004 he was retired from the Show ring. Now he is spending his life, at the age of 14, teaching students a correct feel, along with chasing cows on the Ranch.
