Painted Trak Ranch
Retreat Holidays
|
It’s been our intention to offer clients a unique (1 of a kind) holiday. We have a small stable, all weather outdoor arena (80’ x 200’), round pen & paddocks Lessons will be offered at the Ranch over the summer months, but you’ll need to bring your horse. Or if you’d like to bring your horse and NOT have lessons, that’s fine as well. Get your pony ready & jump a few jumps
Or warm up in the arena and head out for the ride of your lifetime!
The Camping area offers 1 cabin (at present time) a sheltered cooking area, on the Waterton River.
Your bathroom will be OF COARSE an OUTDOOR BIFFY.
If you decide you’d like to bring your own Camping Facility (Motor home/ tents/ stars) NO PROBLEM!
No motorized Vehicles allowed roaming around but you are more than welcome to roam by foot or horseback!
You can be alone or with a group for your Retreat, it’s all up to you! It’s your Holiday! So what can we offer ????? Stabling, lessons, round pen, outdoor arena, 500 acres of trail riding, camping, fishing, bird & animal watching, nature walks, animal tracking, rock picking, photography, long walks or short ones, fresh air, boating at the Waterton Dam (10 minute drive).
There is a restaurant in Glenwood and at the Great Canadian Barn Dance, there might even be a Barn Dance going on when you visit! You are also a ½ hour from Waterton Park, might want to take that in as well, you guys are going to be busy! (If you want) Dogs are Welcome, but must be under control at all times
In the 2006 season, our plans are to situate a few more cabins at different viewpoints on the Ranch.
